About National Parks Guide

Independent, practical planning shaped by maps, official data, and what travelers need at the decision point.

National Parks Guide exists to make the gap between inspiration and a workable day much smaller.

What we build

Our guides connect trail maps, elevation profiles, road geography, gateway decisions, weather, official alerts, permits, and seasonal access. We organize information around the decision a visitor is trying to make—not around a feed of interchangeable list posts.

How we use live data

Weather and alert panels use official sources and retain a last-known-good snapshot when a provider is temporarily unavailable. They support planning, but they never replace posted notices, ranger direction, or emergency guidance.

Editorial independence

National Parks Guide is independent and is not affiliated with the National Park Service. Future advertising will be visually separated from editorial recommendations and will not determine the order of hikes, parks, or planning advice.
